Test Analyst - Cape Town

Requirements:

Create reusable libraries for work package
Assistance in Test Planning for work packages.
Perform detailed analysis of requirements and identify gaps.
Focus on RCA for defects and provide detailed analysis.
An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the programme
Responsibilities:
Review test basis documents and develop test requirements, cases, scripts and data
Execute tests and documents results with evidence
Log defects and retest fixes
Identify and report issues and risks through to the Test Team Lead
Keep JIRA/X- Ray up to date to ensure that reporting is accurate.
Identify tests that can be automated in order to setup automated regression test packs
Input into the Detailed Test Plan
Attend daily stand- Ups, demos, retrospectives
Responsible for quality and consistency within their functional or capability areas
Is responsible for trying to resolve issues and if necessary to report them upwards.
Able to work in different Test Methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid)
Testing all aspects of the product, associated business processes and integration points.
Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management.
Developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.
