Requirements:
- • Matriculation or equivalent.
- • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field (preferred).
- • Proven Test Analyst qualification (highly desirable).
- • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP FICO and/or SAP HCM.
- • Working knowledge of project management principles.
- • Understanding of software quality assurance (SQA) practices.
- • Familiarity with software engineering best practices and frameworks.
- • Experience with test automation principles and tools.
- • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and email.
- • Understanding of various system architectures (client/server, SOA, web-based, thin client, etc.).
- • Basic database and programming skills.
- • Solid understanding of various testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, etc.).
- • Familiarity with different Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs).
- • Knowledge of testing best practices and frameworks is a plus.
- • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Finance, and S/4HANA (advantageous).
- • Basic SQL database knowledge (desired).
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- • SAP Expertise: Analyze and test functionalities across various SAP HCM and Finance modules.
- • Integration Testing: Verify seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP solutions within our IT landscape.
- • Security Focus: Test and understand user authorization roles to ensure system security.
- • Test Planning & Execution: Facilitate and plan user acceptance testing processes, including test execution across all test cycles.
- • Process Improvement: Proactively propose solutions to improve the testing approach for new business processes.
- • Supporting the Team: Collaborate with the functional team, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
- • Test Automation: Work with automation teams to develop and execute automated tests, including scripting test cases and checkpoints.
- • Reporting & Documentation: Compile and analyze test results, prepare comprehensive test documentation, manage defect logs, and provide accurate estimates for test scope and effort.
- • Regression Testing & New Functionality: Assist with regression testing of existing functionalities and testing newly implemented features.
- • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop contingencies, and adjust testing plans accordingly.
- • Collaboration: Maintain open communication channels with developers, business analysts, and management.
- • Test Deliverables: Produce a range of test-related documentation, including test plans, matrices, scripts, and defect logs.
